A number of post-secondary students from outside the Atlantic bubble were found to not be self-isolating over the long weekend.
RCMP says they received complaints over the Labour Day long weekend about the four students not self-isolating who arrived from outside the bubble.
Three students in Antigonish and one in Wolfville were charged for violating the Health Protection Act, and received fines of $1,000 each.
Anyone entering the province from outside the bubble must self-isolate for 14 days upon arrival. Post-secondary students are also required to get tested for COVID-19 three times during those 14 days.
