Muise Steps Down as Lumberjacks’ GM

The South Shore Junior ‘A’ Lumberjacks have made changes to their general manager position.

Brad Muise is out as GM after relinquishing the duties to current head coach, Kyle McAllister.

Muise will remain with the organization as an assistant coach, assistant general manager and scout.

He says he wanted to get back behind the bench.

“I love coaching and this is an opportunity to get back to it. I don’t have the time with my full-time job to do the Lumberjacks justice to do the GM job full-time. It’s just not possible for me.”

Muise says much of this decision started during last year’s off-season through talks between him and owner Larry Creaser.

Muise was hired as GM of the club during the 2014-15 season.

He will join Brogan Bailey as the other assistant coach on the Lumberjacks’ bench.
