The RCMP is asking all-terrain vehicle owners to take preventative measures to make sure they’re secure.
Police in Lunenburg, Queens, and Kings County and the Tantallon area are investigating a series of ATV thefts over the past three weeks.
RCMP in those areas have responded to calls of thefts that have occurred both day and night.
ATVs have been stolen that were parked outdoors or secured in garages, both with and without keys.
Police say keys should never be left in an obvious or accessible location but someplace secure.
