The Stangs had a 3-1 lead but couldn’t hold on, falling to the Cape Breton West Islanders 6-4.
Ryan O’Toole scored twice. Jaron Bolivar and Josh Manzer also found the back of the net.
Keagan Larade stopped 29 shots in the loss.
