Nashville Bits & Bytes

This morning we have the full lineup for next year’s Stagecoach Music Festival, April 23-25 in Indio CA. The headliners previously announced, Riley Green, Zach Top and Garth Brooks. We add to those country stars, Hardy, Willie Nelson and Kelly Clarkson. Still more on the bill with Shaboozey, Florida Georgia Line, Journey, and many more.

Josh Turner is known for one of those voices you recognize the moment you hear it. There was another job he once tried for that had nothing to do with music. Josh says he threw his hat in the ring for a Home Depot commercial years ago, but he didn’t get the gig. Another Josh ended up getting the role, actor Josh Lucas. That name might be recognized as he is young ‘John Dutton’ on “Yellowstone”.

Colt Ford will not be able to return to the road until next year due injuries from his August bus crash are more serious than doctors originally hoped. The singer shared the news in a social media video Monday. All remaining tour dates in 2026 are cancelled as he will require more surgery for his injuries. With his arm in a sling Colt thanked fans for all the support and prayers. He also delivered a little good news, too. They’ll have some new music to listen to while waiting for Ford’s return to the road. Colt was working on a batch of new songs prior to his crash, and he plans to release them this year.

This morning we get a new tune from superstar Blake Shelton. This one might tug on the heart strings a bit. A stripped back version of his single “Let Him In Anyway” from his latest album, For Recreational Use Only.
