Nashville Bits & Bytes

‘Been by Now’ is the 23rd #1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart for Morgan Wallen. The single is his 4th #1 on the chart this year, following ‘20 Cigarettes’, ‘Don’t We’, and ‘I Can’t Love You Anymore’, the duet with Ella Langley. This also means an impressive record for Morgan Wallen as he has had at least 4 #1s in each of the last 3 years.

Parker McCollum, at one point, was “fed up enough” with himself that considered leaving the business for good even after 2 successful albums. He says that changed with his 2025 self-titled release: “For the first time in my career…I just gave it everything I (freaking) had…That was the first record I’ve ever made that makes me feel the way my favorite records do.” Very thankful for that turn around moment.

For the Halloween night show in St. Paul MN, Ella Langley and her band got into the spirit of things by dressing up as “Toy Story” characters. Ella had to lay down the law when it came to candy being thrown onstage. During the show Ella dressed as ‘Jessie’, complete with a wide-brimmed red hat, told the crowd that flying candy is a safety hazard and it had to stop.

Mariya Stokes’ new single, “Money Can’t Buy,” is a feel-good reminder that the best things in life aren’t for sale. Mariya says “This song is my way of saying thank you to my parents and hometown for the way I was raised. It’s about growing up, gaining perspective, and finally understanding what really matters.”
Known for her warmth, quick wit, and for stealing her Grandma’s clothes, Calgary-based country Americana artist Mariya Stokes turns messy, real-life moments into songs that feel like late-night confessions with an old friend, inspired by the likes of Kacey Musgraves, The Chicks, and Bobbie Gentry.
