National Sledge Team Ready For Return to Bridgewater

Some familiar faces are returning to the Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre in Bridgewater.

Canada’s National Sledge Team returns to Bridgewater next week following their silver medal performance in the World Sledge Hockey Challenge.

The team is hosting a high performance training camp.

LCLC General Manager Kevin Benjamin says fans are invited to watch practice at no cost.

“They are really excited to come back to Bridgewater to do their training camp. They were definitely welcomed when they were here last January and they really enjoyed their time here.”

Canada is using the camp to prepare for next month’s World Sledge Hockey Challenge in Charlottetown.

They will face the United States, Norway and Korea.

Practices begin on Remembrance Day and last until November 15.

The full practice schedule is below.
