NCC Offers Alternative Christmas Gift Ideas

If you’re stuck with last minute gift ideas, the Nature Conservancy of Canada is looking to help.

The private land conservation organization is holding its 24th annual Gifts of Canadian Nature.

Media Relations Director, Andrew Holland, says it gives people a chance to adopt a species or certain habitat.

“Maybe, it’s the Mainland Moose in Nova Scotia or puffins in Atlantic Canada. You name it.”

The program has raised over $3-million to help the NCC with its conservation like protecting wetlands, coastal areas and forests across Canada.
