As tax season looms, more Canadians are feeling the stress before filing.
Canada Revenue Agency’s, Desmond Arsenault says a new app may make filing online a whole lot easier.
“It’s called My CRA,” said Arsenault adding, “And it will allow the user to access the previous year’s tax information, and they can even view any credits owed to them, such as the child tax benefit.”
Arsenault also warns Canadians to be on the look out for several scams making rounds this year and advises those targeted call CRA immediately.
This year’s deadline to file is May 2nd for individuals or June 15th if you’re self employed.
