New Sign-In Needed To Access LCLC Dressing Rooms

Arena users in Bridgewater have to get used to a new security measure.

People who need a dressing room key at the LCLC have to sign-in at guest services.

The Municipality of the District of Lunenburg updated its dressing room policy last month.

Recreation Director, Trudy Payne, says the change should be positive.

“The teams that are using the dressing rooms are using the dressing rooms that they were assigned; they can lock it, control it and bring it back up. It just really provides that extra security for the facility and the user group.”

Previously, the key was left in the dressing room door after every use.

Payne says some minor damage or messy conditions have been found at times in dressing rooms.

She says the new system should help eliminate the guess work and determine who is responsible.
