Lunenburg Co. RCMP are investigating nine recent suspicious fires in Oakhill.
Police say the fires were in the forest and occurred within approximately 100 square metres on Leary Fraser Rd.
They say since Thursday, RCMP and Oakhill and District Fire Department, along with Nova Scotia Power and the Department of Lands and Forestry, have responded to these incidents.
The investigation determined the fires to be suspicious in nature.
RCMP say no one was injured as a result of the fires and the investigation is ongoing.
