It’s the first year Bridgewater High won’t be facing off against Park View Education Centre in the Glen Murray Tournament.
It is, however, the first year they’ll be playing as one team.
Theresa Schroder, Communications with the South Shore Regional School Board, says moral is high amongst new and returning Park View students.
“They’re excited, they’re working really well together, and I think it’s a great new beginning.”
Eight schools will be facing-off this weekend at the LCLC in Bridgewater.
Teams are travelling from Cape Breton, the Valley and Yarmouth County.
We’ve provided a link for this weekend’s schedule.
Park View starts the tournament off with a match against West Kings at 10:30 Friday morning.
