Charges will not be laid after a dog was found dead Sunday on a snowmobile trail near Yarmouth. The pit bull terrier was shot and killed and its body discovered by snowmobile drivers. The RCMP says the dog’s owner has been found but say there are no grounds to lay charges. The investigation has involved the RCMP, SPCA and Animal Control.
