No One Injured After Vehicle Crashes Into Saulnierville Grocery Store

A vehicle crashed into a Saulnierville grocery store Friday afternoon.

Photos on social media show an SUV at the far end of Comeau’s Foodland, leaving a path of extensive damage behind it.

Constable Chad Morrison, media relations with the RCMP says the incident happened at around 3:30.

“My understanding is it was an elderly couple who for whatever reason ended up driving through the front of the building there,” says Morrison.

He says no injuries were reported and no charges were laid.

The grocery store, and Clarence’s Shopping Centre, are closed today due to the accident.
