No Relief Expected At The Gas Pumps This Week

Drivers around here have been hoping to see gas prices start coming down again but it appears thats not going to happen this week.

In New Brunswick today, regular self serve has increased by 1.5 cents a litre.

The price for diesel hasn’t changed though.

Senior petroleum analyst Dan McTeague with Gasbuddy.com says there’s some instability in the market right now.

“It has a lot to do with hyper speculation, several refineries showing some signs of fatigue and shutdown”.

McTeague still believes there will be decreases on the way soon.

The UARB makes its weekly setting for our prices at midnight tonight.
