Nominations are now being accepted to recognize the best in business in Shelburne County.
There are five categories in the Shelburne County Business and Community Development awards.
They are hospitality, business of the year, exporter of the year, innovation and excellence in community development.
Executive Director, Dixie Redmond, says she hopes people will get involved in the nominating process.
“A business that has made a difference in your life or you know has made some valuable contributions in the community in any of those categories.”

The awards will be handed out on October 20 at the Royal Canadian Legion in Clark’s Harbour.
