When I got up early this morning and read the news that Donald Trump and First Lady Melania have tested positive for Coronavirus, I thought it was some kind of a joke or a hoax. I visited several news sites before it started to sink in that it was true.
I must admit that some ironic thoughts about Karma went through my head but the more I thought about it, the more I’m ashamed of myself for having those thoughts. Sure, he politicized the virus and caused way more harm from his words and actions than any good from his government, but he’s a man who is at risk from serious complications because he’s overweight and he’s 74.
I wouldn’t wish the coronavirus on my worst enemy.
I truly hope he beats the virus and loses the election. But that’s just me.
