Team Nova Scotia para-alpine skier Brenda MacDonald of Windsor won silver yesterday in the Para Female Giant Slalom at the Canada Winter Games.
Brenda’s medal is Nova Scotia’s fourth of the games.
Also, the full trampoline team including Tia Wamboldt of Bridgewater finished fourth in the Team Mix competition.
It’s the highest ever placing for Nova Scotia in that event.
Snowboarder Kate MacKinnon of Chester finished sixth in the Female Parallel Giant Slalom.
Nova Scotia sits eighth in the medal standings with two silver and two bronze; Quebec leads with 109 heading into Day 4, week 2 of competition.
