The Green Party of Nova Scotia appears to be folding.
A statement on the party’s website by outgoing interim leader, Brynn Nheiley, says a political party cannot exist without an active membership.
Nheiley says it’s a sad day for the executive because no one has stepped forward for the leadership and they are no longer able to function.
She adds, she takes responsibility for the outcome – unavailable to successfully harness new energy and ideas, or communicate effectively with party supporters.
Nheiley says the party will try to reimburse those who paid their 2016 memberships.
