Nova Scotia will host the Canadian Caucus of Black Parliamentarians Conference in 2018.
The announcement was made after a two-day meeting in Ottawa attended by African Nova Scotian Affairs Minister Tony Ince.
The annual conference brings together provincial and federal government representatives, stakeholders, and other community leaders to discuss issues that face African Canadians.
The group has met every year since 2015.
The 2018 meeting dates, location and specific agenda topics will be announced later this year.
