I have to admit, I now feel I don’t know how to Christmas. It has become obvious that I never have. Sure, I have tried and had some fun times along the way, but I should have tried harder.
What the season really need is thirty-two animated Port-a-potties cheerfully singing. To be clear, the port-a-potties are not the part that is animated. They are real. The faces on them, that’s a different story.
Service Sanitation, a company in Gary, Indiana has been using their portable toilets to celebrate the season for a while now. They call it “The Jingle Johns: A Lighted Loo Experience” and have even taken some of them on tour to entertain people around their area.
Many of us probably do not think fondly of port-a-potties. They are things we use when we have to. Not really an experience we look forward to. And it is highly unlikely we would ever look at a bunch of port-a-potties and think… “If only they could sing.”
These ones do. Or at least lip sync. And really, it does make a statement about 2020 in many different ways as they belt out the Hallelujah Chorus.
The Jingle Johns have performed before, but never to this extent. In fact, this has set a world record for the number of animated faces on a light display. You really need to watch this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dm5aV7FpSks The proper way to send 2020 packing. And pay tribute to all that toilet paper you still have in the closet.
