The Shelburne County Island Traps Schooners swept their season opening doubleheader in Truro yesterday.
Tristan Reede pitched well in his Schooners debut in a 4-1 Game 1 victory.
Shelburne’s offense exploded in Game 2 as they won 15-1 in five innings.
The Schooners play their home opener this Sunday, 11am when they host the Pictou County Royals at Sherose Island Ballpark.
