Dustin “Dusty” Marshall LeBlanc

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dustin Marshall LeBlanc 31, Bridgewater N.S. Dustin was in a serious car accident on April 28th and succumbed to his injuries on May 4, 2026.

Born in Halifax, Dustin grew up in Cherry Hill where he went to Petite Riviere Elementary School. His junior high years were spent at Hebbville Junior High School, and he graduated in 2013 from Park View Education Centre.

Dustin took his secondary education at NSCC Kingstec Campus and in 2019 he graduated as a machinist. He worked at his trade as a machinist a short time and also tried several other lines of work. Dustin worked with his dad as a painter and found that painting was a job he really liked. Later he joined Tim Townsend Painting Company. Dustin loved his job there and his co-workers were just like family to him.

In his younger days Dustin was a member of the Bridgewater Minor Hockey Association. He loved playing hockey and became a great defenseman. Dusty decided to give up playing hockey when he developed type1 diabetes at age 17.

Dustin was a charmer. He had a big generous heart and a great sense of humour. His charm and funny stories brought laughter to all our family gatherings. Dustin always had a smile on his face and was willing to give a helping hand to friends and strangers alike.

Dustin loved nature and being outdoors. He spent hours walking and combing the beach for sea glass with his beloved Katlyn. He also loved cars, going on long drives, camping, and fishing. Dusty will be sorely missed.

He is survived by the love of his life Katlyn Daniels and fur babies Pumpkin and Ivan (Bridgewater); father, Jody (Angela) LeBlanc (Hebbville); mother, Suzanne (Jeff) Kelly; sisters Amanda (Haig) Beylerian (Riverport), Sarah LeBlanc ( Haida Gwaii, B.C.); nephews, Edgar and Razmig ( Riverport); grandfather, Gerald Marshall (Petite Riviere); uncles Todd (Carole) LeBlanc, Tom (Sue) LeBlanc; aunts, Lauren (David) Doucette (Hammonds Plains), Hannah (Kenny) Searle, (South Nappan, NB); cousins Jenna (Jeff) Culbertson (Enfield), Daniel LeBlanc ( Wembley, AB), Zach Doucette (BC), Josh Doucette (Halifax), and Chad Turner, (Dartmouth).

There will be a celebration of Dustin’s life on May 30, 2026,1:00-3:00, at the Hebbville Firehall, 215 Century Drive, Hebbville, N.S. Everyone is welcome. Arrangements entrusted to Personal Care Cremations & Memorial Services.

Dusty’s family would like to thank all the First Responders who came to his aid, the South Shore Regional Hospital Medical Team that received him, and the Five.Two ICU at the Q.E. II Hospital in Halifax that continued his care. The exceptional care and love shown not only to Dusty, but his family as well, will never be forgotten.
