It is with great sadness, we Nicole F. Tanner and Shawna L. Morrison are announcing the passing of our father Ewen S. Morrison (Buddy) in the early morning hours on April 19th, 2026.

Our father’s wishes were simple, in lieu of a funeral and service, he wanted friends and family members to remember the good times and to think of him when walking in the woods, on a beach or near a body of water.  All places he enjoyed and places he felt at peace. 

As an animal lover – especially in his later years – there will be no flowers by request of the family but a donation to Hope for Wildlife located in Seaforth, NS would be appreciated and is a good cause to support. 

We would also like to send a huge and heartfelt thank you to all the nursing staff and doctors on the 4th floor of the South Shore Regional Hospital for the care, support, compassion, and respect you have shown us and our father in this difficult time. You are all amazing people and we are forever grateful for your help.
