OICKLE, Leora Amelia – Age 95, of Bridgewater. Passed away Thursday April 30, 2026, in Bridgewater. Born August 23, 1930, she was a daughter of the late, Everette and Nellie (Snare) Moran.
Leora is survived by daughter, Donna (Edward) Perry, Hebb’s Cross; son, Michael Oickle, Pleasantville; grandsons, Michael (Amanda) Perry, Hebb’s Cross, Alex Oickle, Pleasantville; granddaughter, Erin (Pat) Hirtle, Bridgewater; and great-grandson, MacKenzie Carr.
She was predeceased by her husband, Rex; brothers, Laurie, Lester, Emery, Edwin, and Kenny; sisters, Joyce, Lovia, Jeannie, and Lexie; and her long-time companion, Denton Conrad.
She was a very active lady who loved dancing, bowling, playing cards, and travelling.
There will be no visitation, or memorial service by family request. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada, Canadian Cancer Society, or Heart and Stroke of Canada. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater.
