Park View Construction Continues As School Starts

It’s back to a construction zone for students at Park View Education Centre.

Coordinator of Operations Andy Selig says work on the high school is about 50% complete.

But he says students will be able to see the progress when they go back to class this week.

“Last year we had the entire west wing–upstairs and down– which represents almost 30,000 square feet, we had that out of commission and under construction. So those students last year didn’t see that entire wing. They’re going to see that brand new.”

Selig says new sections of the school will be off limits this year, but classes wont be effected.

The total budget for the project is almost $13 million.
