Paying Tribute To Hank

A foot stompin’, hand clappin’ good time is planned for this coming weekend in Queens County.

This is the 26th year for the Hank Snow Tribute in Liverpool.

Co-Chair Kelly Inglis says some of Hank’s family will be in attendance.

“We have Jimmie Snow, Hank’s only son, coming up. He’s going to be opening the show and actually closing the show on Sunday, too.”

The 2016 event is the year of Elvis Presley.

Elvis impersonator, Thane Dunn and the Cadillac Kings, will be part of the opening acts on Thursday evening.

There are roughly 38 acts from Newfoundland to Nashville performing at this year’s Tribute.

A variety of music will be featured including gospel and classic country.

Inglis says the Tribute is considered a big reunion and something the community really looks forward to hosting.

The Tribute attracts thousands of people every year to Queens.

More information on the event can be found here.
