A pedestrian is in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle on Highway 102 near the exit to Larry Uteck Boulevard in Halifax.
RCMP Sgt. Linda Gray says the 22-year-old man is from the southwest part of this province.
He has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The 33-year-old male driver was also taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The incident happened around 9 p.m. last night.
Traffic was detoured around the scene for several hours.
Speed and alcohol are not believed to be factors.
