The Picton Castle is home.
The adventurous tall ship arrived back in Lunenburg over the weekend (Saturday afternoon).
The Barque has been gone for more than two years after making its latest voyage around the globe.
The ship embarked on the latest journey in November 2012 – just after Hurricane Sandy.
Since then, it has visited 22 countries and traveled 40,000 nautical miles.
More than 100 trainees sailed on the ship – many with little or no sailing experience and learning the “ropes” as they sail.
The ships captain is Daniel Moreland.
It will be in Lunenburg for a week, then off to the United States for a tall ship festival.
