It’s a reminder for residents of the South Shore to check over your childs Halloween candy. Mounties say a young girl found a small pin inside a choclate bar after trick or treating in the Cole Harbour area. The girl broke the bar in half and was about to it when she discovered the pin. The 2.5 centimetre pin was found in a “Wunderbar”. There have been no reports of tampered candy in Lunenburg, Queens or Shelburne counties. Police say it’s the only case they know about in Nova Scotia.
