Mounties are looking into another tampering case involving Halloween treats in Nova Scotia. Police say another sewing needle has been found inside some candy. It’s the third case police are investigating in the province. Two cases have been reported in a small community outside of Halifax and the other is in Cape Breton. It’s not known if these incidents are connected or a copycat of the potato tampering case originating in PEI. Last month, seven sewing needles were discovered jammed inside potatoes distributed throughout Atlantic Canada.
