A needle has been found inside a potato that was sold at a grocery store in Bridgewater.
Police received a complaint on Saturday after a customer turned in a potato with the object inside of it.
The bag was labelled “Farmers Market Russet Potatoes” and is similar to others seized in Atlantic Canada.
Other incidents have popped up more recently in Yarmouth and Barrington Passage.
The person was not injured.
Anyone finding foreign objects in a potato is asked to refrain from throwing out the potato, metal object or the bag and contact RCMP.
