The seasonal change is bringing a new problem for drivers – potholes.
The concrete craters can be found across the South Shore including the Municipality of Chester.
Warden Allen Webber says roads are in tough shape.
“I know it’s a problem across the province, I know it’s expensive but I hear more complaints about the roads than I do about things that the municipality is responsible for.”
He points to sections of Highway 12 and 14 that are in desperate need of attention.
The province is currently using temporary cold patch to fill potholes until asphalt plants open next month.
