Power out for 1,000+ in Shelburne

A big outage is impacting about 1,000 customers in the Shelburne area, according to Nova Scotia Power.

Electricity was knocked out around 10:40 Monday morning, with an estimated restoration time of around 2:15 p.m.

The cause of the outage is currently being investigated.
