A system-wide power outage is expected early Sunday morning for people in Lunenburg and surrounding communities.
The Town of Lunenburg Electric Utility is working with Nova Scotia Power to complete work on both their respective systems near the substation.
Power will be off from 2 a.m. until 4 a.m. Sunday.
The utility says in a release that the work performed during the outage will minimize future power interruptions and return stand-by systems into service.
