The Liverpool Privateers coasted to an 8-1 victory last night over the Cole Harbour Colts.
The win gives the Privateers a 2-1 lead in the best of seven playoff series.
Brandon Pottie and Gavyn Connell-Helle each had four points; Pottie scored a goal and added three assists while Connell-Helle found the back of the net twice and assisted on two other goals.
Derek Nelson, Christopher Dodson, Travis Parks, Noah Naugler and Logan MacLellan also scored.
MacLellan’s goal came on a penalty shot.
Goaltender Logan MacEwan made 32 saves
Game four is Friday night in Cole Harbour.
