The Pictou County Scotians are one win away from the Provincial Junior ‘B’ Hockey title.
Last night in Liverpool, the Scotians built a 5-1 lead and then held off the Privateers 5-4 to grab a 3-2 lead in the best of seven final.
Derek Nelson had all four goals for Liverpool including three in a row late in the third period.
Game six goes Friday night in New Glasgow.
