Provincial Doctor Wait-List Hits Record High

A record number of Nova Scotians need a family doctor.

As of April 1st, the number of citizens on the province’s wait-list hit 88,300, a three percent increase over the previous month.

Around 30,000 are on the list in Halifax alone, that’s a seven per cent bump since March.

Around 8.8 per cent of the province’s population are on the list.
