A 61 year-old fisherman has died following an incident in Port Mouton. RCMP in Queens County got the call yesterday morning shortly after 11 o’clock. Corporal Doug Brannen says the man was working on his boat – near the wharf – when he fell into the water. Branen says the man was getting CPR when police arrived but later died. The Department of Labour is investigating the incident. It’s the third workplace fatality in the fishing industry this year.
