Queens: Survey Looks For Public Input On Indoor Swimming Pool

The Queens Community Aquatic Society is looking to hear from you about a year-round, indoor swimming pool.

A questionnaire has been set up for residents of Queens to help the society gauge community interest and level of support in the facility.

Dr. Celeste Johnson, President of the QCAS, says keeping active improves health and one setting where different forms of activity can occur is in a swimming pool.

Mayor Christopher Clarke says whether residents want a pool or not, they need to respond.

The survey will help decide if there is community support to maintain a swimming pool, and if so, what components the community wants in their pool.

More than 1,000 people have already responded to the survey.

A link to the survey can be found here .

You can also pick up a copy of the survey at the Region of Queens administration office.
