Radiothon 2016 has raised just under $136,000.
The money will go to buy urology equipment for the South Shore Regional Hospital.
The total is a little under their goal of $150,000 but Managing Director Arleen Stevens says she’s not disappointed.
“The community has probably raised about $10,000 an hour, when you think about it,” she says, “and that’s just an incredible thing.”
Stevens says she’s impressed by the generosity of people in the South Shore.
She says they’re expecting a little more money to roll in over the next few weeks.
