Rain Wreaks Havoc On Afternoon Commute

The rain is causing troubles for some drivers this afternoon.

Police and fire departments have been called to several vehicles off the road.

There was a small delay at exit 9 on the 103 at around 2:30 after a van hydroplaned and went off the road.

RCMP say people need to take the weather into account when planning their commute, drive below the speed limit and make sure their car is in good working order.

Police on scene say no one was hurt.

However the van was totalled after the tree it hit fell onto the roof.

The rain is expected to continue until tomorrow afternoon.
