RCMP Investigating After Rims, Wheels Stolen From Dealership

Lunenburg District RCMP is investigating after tires and rims were stolen from a local car dealership.

Officers responded to a complaint September 24 by a car dealership on Highway 3 in Hebbville.

Six new pickup trucks had been jacked up and had their rear wheels and tires removed.

The theft occurred overnight between 10 and 11:15 PM September 23.

Through the investigation and surveillance camera footage, police have determined three males were involved in the thefts.

They used a pickup truck themselves to remove the stolen items from the area.

The rims and tires are brand new and valued at over $15,000 altogether.

The RCMP did not release the name of the dealership.
