RCMP say a Yarmouth County man died yesterday in a kite surfing accident.
Meteghan RCMP Sgt. Dan Gaudet says they received a call around 1:30 pm of an incident at Mavilette Beach.
Gaudet says the victim was brought to the shore where attempts were made to resucitate him.
The 53-year-old man was transported by EHS to the Yarmouth Regional Hospital.
Sgt. Gaudet says the RCMP are working with the medical examiners office as the investigation continues.
The man’s name isn’t being released.
