Refugee Information Fair

There’s a lot of conflicting information about how to help the incoming refugees.

That’s why The New Voice Language academy put together an Information Fair on Friday.

More than a hundred people came out to learn about services put in place to help refugees succeed.

Erin Murley, one of the organizers, says if you missed out on the fair they can still be a resource.

“We’ll be happy to direct people and, sort of, act as a hub,” she says, “and make sure everyone knows how to acess the information they need.”

She says they only had a week to put the event together.

She’s thrilled with how it turned out.
