Motorists in the Tri Counties are being warned of severe black ice conditions this morning.
Tony Hall from the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal in Clare says the black ice formed quickly this morning as the temperature changed.
He says conditions on Highway 101 extend from Weymouth to the Yarmouth-Digby County line.
Please note that these conditions could also be present in other areas.
Bill Thurston at the TIR base in Yarmouth says crews have been out salting in Yarmouth and Shelburne Counties.
