During the warm summer months, food trucks become a vibrant staple of outdoor dining, whether street-side, at festivals or parked in a busy lot.
Jerilyn Lariviere launched South Shore Eats to fill a void in the local scene. Her mobile kitchen offers up an array of tacos busting with fresh ingredients, loaded nachos, taco fries, and taco salad in a crispy corn tortilla bowl, giving the menu a Tex-Mex vibe. Protein options include beef, chicken, haddock and refried beans.

The taco salad is a meal in itself. The bowl is made in-house and layered with refried beans, rice, fresh greens and other veggies. The salad is topped with a rich South Shore Eats original tomato salsa and cheese.
Looking for a burrito? Choose the chimichanga, a deep fried burrito filled the way you want it. Craving a snack? The pork rinds, or chicharrones, are the way to go. Fried street corn riblets round out the Tex-Mex offerings. They come tossed in corn sauce and topped with cheese.

Wanting to wrap your hands around a burger? Try the taco options of beef, chicken, haddock or refried beans between a bun. When it comes to seasoning and flavoring the burgers, Lariviere touch hits the mark.
For dessert, grab a churros or some sweet cinnamon crunchies to finish off your meal.
Gluten free and vegan options are available.
Check South Shore Eats Facebook page for weekly specials and truck location. When not on the road, South Shore Eats is at District 33 Winery, Jordan Bay, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, for a tasty pairing. If you are lucky, you might find them at your favorite festival or event this year.
