The emergency department at Roseway Hospital in Shelburne will be closed tonight.
There aren’t enough doctors to stay open according to the Nova Scotia Health Authority.
Health minister Leo Glavine promised more doctors and paramedics will be provided to the area over the next few weeks.
However, they haven’t arrived yet.
Doors will close at 7 p.m. tonight and will re-open at 8 o’clock tomorrow morning.
