Lunenburg County donations went beyond Major Wilson Sutton’s expections and raised close to 67-thousand dollars.
Sutton credits this year’s success to strong community support.
This year’s total raised, $66,854.00 will stay in the community and support vulnerable people with basic necessities such as food, clothing, shelter and other provisions.
Kettle Campaign donations were up across the country with over 22-million dollars raised by more than 2-thousand communities.
