Say goodbye to summer, get ready for fall

Unfortunately, we have to do it every year; we’re getting ready to bid farewell to summer.

It feels like it was just yesterday we were digging out the bathing suits.

Summer officially ends on Tuesday at 8:04 pm Eastern Time. That’s when we officially welcome a new season, autumn.

Fall is known as the season of colour, when the leaves change and fall off the trees.

The Weather Network says daylight hours also fall.

Between the first day of fall and the first day of winter, those daylight hours are reduced from 12 hours and eight minutes to just 9 hours and 27 minutes.
